After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Communication Studies, I began my real estate career with a major production home builder before obtaining my license in 2003. In 2005, I earned my Associate Broker's license and relocated to the Washington DC Metro area. With over 20 years of real estate experience, I've seen just about every situation the competitive DMV market can throw at an agent, and I thrive on navigating the complex ones.
I specialize in the greater Montgomery County, Maryland area and am licensed in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Giving back is one of my favorite parts of this career. I serve on the Board of Directors for Hero Dogs, Inc., an organization that provides service dogs to veterans and former first responders. My husband and I raised Hero Dogs Monty, now a Skilled Home Companion for a local Vietnam Veteran, and I've sponsored additional service dogs through a portion of my commissions. I also volunteer with Manna Food Center, the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless, and the Junior League of Washington DC.
While I was born and raised in Texas, the DMV is definitely home now. My husband Andrew works in the clubhouse for the Washington Nationals, and we have a daughter, Presley Briar, and a chocolate English Lab named Rooney. In our free time you'll find us at Nats Park, Capital One Arena, or Audi Field cheering on our favorite teams, or exploring restaurants with a good outdoor patio.
