My path to luxury real estate was anything but conventional. I started my career in archaeology after earning a degree in Anthropology from SUNY Cortland, then moved into international engineering at a firm in Manhattan, where I contributed to projects for the George Washington Bridge, Merck Pharmaceuticals, the U.S. Postal Service, and Newark International Airport. From there, I spent years in political consulting and digital marketing, advising on gubernatorial, Senate, and presidential campaigns and working with national organizations and Fortune 500 corporations.
Every one of those careers taught me something I use in real estate today: how to solve complex problems, how to lead under pressure, how to negotiate high-stakes outcomes, and how to deliver the level of service that discerning clients expect. I brought all of that with me when I co-founded Stone Thompson Luxury Group at Illustrated Properties in Jupiter, Florida.
Together with my co-founder Jill Stone, who brings over a decade of real estate experience across Massachusetts and Florida, we specialize in the waterfront communities, country club estates, and distinctive properties of the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast. I've served as President of the Jupiter Palm Beach chapter of Legatus, was named Southeast Region President of the Year in 2022, and I serve as a Commissioner for Planning and Zoning for the Town of Jupiter. My wife Andrea and I live in Jupiter with our two rescue dogs, and we were invested as Dame and Knight of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem in 2024.
