Our story started on Christmas Eve, 2013. Rich and Grace both grew up in New York, ended up in Georgia, and found each other through an online connection that quickly became something much more. Their second date was at the botanical gardens. The rest, as they say, is history.
About a year into their relationship, they made a decision that a lot of couples hesitate to make: they went into business together. They were both licensed agents and had each been longing for a real partner in the industry. It took courage, but within a year they had a thriving partnership. They learned they were stronger together, and that is how the Best Team was formed.
Today Rich and Grace lead RED 1 Realty Georgia, serving buyers and sellers across Northeast Georgia with a team approach that means someone is always available, always informed, and always working in the client's corner. They are 10 Million+ Producers and three-time eXp ICON Agents. They've also been featured on the cover of Top Agent Magazine.
Grace earned Rookie of the Year in her first year in real estate. Her very first client was a woman who said she could never afford a home. Grace's response: maybe I can make it happen. She became Grace's first transaction, and the seller's agent had no idea it was Grace's first deal until she said so at the closing table.
Rich brings a complementary set of strengths that make the team genuinely greater than the sum of its parts. When one partner is unavailable, the other steps in seamlessly. Clients consistently say they never felt alone in the process.
Their certifications include Accredited Staging Professional (ASP), Designated Pricing Strategy Advisor, Certified Client Protection Expert, and Certified Relocation Expert. They are active members of the National Association of Realtors, the Georgia Association of Realtors, and the Athens Area Association of Realtors, and they volunteer with their church, Special Olympics, the Boys and Girls Club, Wounded Warriors, and several animal rescue organizations.
