My path to real estate wasn't a straight line, and I think that's part of what makes me good at it. Before moving to Idaho in 1991, I spent nine years as a lender, which gave me a strong foundation in the financial side of homeownership that most agents don't have. When I arrived in Idaho, I worked as a real estate appraiser for several years, completing over 1,200 appraisals across the area. I learned to read a market, evaluate a property honestly, and give people information they could actually rely on. When I finally made the move into sales, I brought all of that with me.
I've now been a full-time REALTOR for over 30 years. I hold designations including CRS, ABR, SRES, SFR, PMN, and e-Pro — and I keep adding to that list because I believe every client deserves someone who never stops learning.
I'm a good listener. That sounds simple, but it's the foundation of everything I do. I take time to understand what you actually want and need (not just what you think you want right now) and then I use 30+ years of market knowledge to help get you there. I'm also a skilled negotiator. I know how to ask the right questions, find what makes a deal work for both sides, and advocate hard for my clients without burning bridges along the way.
After the sale, I stay available. I keep a list of trusted contractors, people I've either used myself or heard consistently praised by clients, and I'm always happy to share it. I believe the relationship doesn't end at closing.
